The family lies at the core of Hettabretz, founded in 1960 by Enrichetta Bertuzzi in Bologna.

Daughter of one of the most important leather merchant in Italy, she started to craft womenswear pieces for her own use and pleasure.

Right after the foundation, a highly appreciated leatherwear collection can be found in the best boutiques of the world like Marie Martin, Beltrami, Bergdorf Goodman, Joyce, Neiman Marcus, Loewe, Eickhoff to name a few.

Across the decades, always maintaining its essence of exclusiveness, Hettabretz served clients like royals from England, Saudi Arabia, Holland, and Greece, as well as a few of the most important families in the world such as The Rothschilds, the Fords, The Onassis, The Fourniers, The Agnelli and celebrity likes of Audrey Hepburn or Elizabeth Taylor.

It is now the third generation safeguarding such a long-standing tradition of design and sartorial expertise.
